tyres for a standard sierra 1994

Hey all,
My name's gav.  I've just managed to ge myself a 1994 Sierra (which i think you guys call a Samuria).  I was wondering, what is the biggest size tyres can i put on my standard zook?  I am a poor uni student in Oz so i cant afford any mods.
Alot of the guys i've spoken to over here recon i could ge some 30"x9.5"x15"s underneath, as long as i keep them on the standard rim.  Is this true?
I just want the simple facts.  There are alot of threads about putting lifts on and then go 30" but i want to leave mine standard.

Also, i've heard that by putting 30"s on you go though cluches quick.  Is there anyrhing that i can do to stop this from happening.  Does someone make stronger cluch kits for the Sierra down under?
Cheers, Gav

I've got 31"s and the stock clutch, and it works fine.

Anyway, move the bumper forward and inch or so and put 235s on it and you will be good, it will rub a bit probably but if you don't mind trimming you should be good. I doubt you can fit 30"s on it without a small lift.

Thanks for that.

I also would like to know the best way of pushing the bumper forward.

I got a set of 235/70R15.  Will these fit on the standard rims or do i need to get some bigger rims?  And how bid is the standard rim size?  Someone is floging some sierra rims (on another site) that are 15"x5.5".  Is that strandard?  Will my tyres fit on those rims?

Cheers, Gavin
