ok i put my new nardek carb kit in my stock aisin carb and it surges, it will rev up to 2000 and then drop down and almost stall then rev up again. this was why i put the kit in and well it didnt help. i have read you can put a carb off of a hyundai pony anyone do this? what year of pony is it? and is there things to watch for?

I just replaced my stock carb with a rebuilt Holley off of a 78 Toyota Corolla with a 1200 cc engine and am extremely well satisfied with it. More power, doesn't conk out on even the steepest, rockiest hills and no more vacuum line tangle or ECU to woirry about.

The swap was easy, even for a mechanically challenged 66 year old codger like me. There is info on this swap at

http://www.northcoastoffroad.com/samuraitech.htm

If you should decide to go this route, e-mail me at meltaylor|removethispart|@zianet.com and I can give you some tips that should help make it even easier.

When you hold the shift key down and type 4X4 it comes out $X$. Could anything be more appropriate?
