shift points on an auto

 i was wonderin if its possible to adjust the shift points on a 94 3 speed auto tranny.....in first gear with it fully gased it shifts kinda early and then it kinda slows it down for second gear....thanx

   When I replaced the modulator valve on my Kick, they said there were two different ones, depending on how you wanted it to shift.  Not sure how much difference it would make though.

Adjust the kickdown cable on the throttle
body, a little tighter will keep it in the lower
gears for a little longer, also keeps it from
shifting too soon and jumping from 2-3 over
and over at lower speeds (30-40 MPH)

Don't you hav eth elittle switch to turn the tranny into "power" mode.  Mine shifts at redline with that on.  Otherwise it shifts to early.  Eversince I went to bigger tires I just shifted it myself.

pshhh turbo button....i wish ... just like i wish i had a 4th gear ....but we cant always get what we want huh

Yeah, I wish it actually did add "power" >:(  I didn't realize only the 4 speeds came with that switch.

now how bad is it to accelerate wit the auto by manually choosing the gears like 1 2 drive?
