ok...i want to buy a suzuki.. I LVE THEM and i really dont knwo what one to chose ....the XL-7 the side kick ,,the sami or the vatira/grand vatira...i want it to get a lift kit... >:(but i hav a tight buget  ,,,so i dont want to spend to mutch money. so ....if anyone can give me hints on what zukes are better...that would be awsume...thnx

    Welcome to the board good to see more comming to this side I myself have always leaned towards the trackick side of things. They already come with the larger engines, you can get'em with an auto, and different rear ends , because there newer alot of them are still stock, and because they were sold under so many name plates the bone yards are full of parts.

   You put a 2" body lift and some coil spacers on a kick throw on a set of 235's a homemade snorkel and you can have a real good time going places others wouldn't dare

  On the other hand if your into 35's and serious rockcrawling the sammi can be made to do this for alot less headaches than a kick (theres that whole solid axle vs. IFS :-/) however the sammi only came with a 64HP 1.3 theres no automatic available, and far less were sold in the us then trackicks so parts can be difficult from time to time
 
  Whatever you get there are plenty of  people on this board to help you out when you need it, and depending on where your at there are many off road meets all over the place. just check out the adventure forum

Coming from the Sammi faction of LMS, Sammi's and their stuff(lifts,lockers, etc.) tend to be a wee bit cheaper, so if it's low dough you need...A Sammi it should be.

i like tracks/kicks and sammys ,so it depends on what you wana do , if you wana drive it down the highway get a tracker or a sidekick,if you wana offroad start with a sammy. you can get mini spools for$100,and lockers for $200 and do a 5" spring over for peanuts and throw a set of 31" tires and start spanking jeeps on the trail.
tracks will cost a little more to get trailworthy but you will have more power  and,ac ,ps and heat , no matter what you decide welcome to the board

I would have to agree with them.
For all out rockcrawling on a budget, a Sammie would fit the bill.
If you can find a 90-9? you can get a FI and probley 20 more Hp? (maybe but they are the hardest to find)

If your going cheap go Sammy, as of now including the price of the rig, I have about $2000 in it.  SPOA, locker, 31in tires.  It wheels better than my jeep ever did.

It really depends on what u want it for. here is a badass sami for a really good price it would be very hard to break this thing even if u add lockers and power steering. good luck on ur search.



1987 JX Conv. Project truck that does start run stop and move around, Been wheeled around the yard and a few other local places, but still needs some finishing touches.

Has been sitting untouched for 1 year and needs a new home.
