Yes, but you have to swap the side gears over as rears are 26 spline and fronts are 22 spline.

Or buy some aftermarket 26 spline front axles too  ;)

Translation:

The rear third member case will bolt onto the front axle housing.

However (& I personally am not sure that this is actually true -- if I am wrong then, OOPS!) mudfkr says that the front axle shafts will not fit into a rear third member.  This is alledgedly because the spline count on the end of the front axle shaft is different from the spline count of the side gears that are in a rear third member.

Here is a picture of what splines look like:

Different types of differentials have different spline counts in the axle shaft and the corresponding side gears.  The side gears are the differentials' "output" gears -- they connect to the axle shafts which connect to the wheel.  The spline count (and the diameter of the axle shaft and side gear "hole") must match exactly.

I hope this helps!

Thats a better explaination than mine Ack ;D

Rear axles are 27.4MM (1.08") 26 spline
Front axles are 23.9MM  (.94") 22 spline

Front axles are IFS, even if the spline count
were the same it wouldn't fit,  ;)  but if you use
26 spline front 3rds, the old 26 sammy axles
will fit the front sidegears.

In that case I wouldn't pay $5 for them, I've seen a set of CV unlimiteds twist and break on the long side.
