tracker tran/t-case
« on: December 01, 2005, 01:09:24 PM »
This may be a very newbie question but I don't know much about tracker/kicks. I am getting ready to send my tracker case to OTT for a kicker3 but I cant seem to get the two cases apart.
I have removed all the bolts around what I believe is the t-case adapter flange. It is the seam that goes between the t-case mount and the rear trans mount.
I put both cases in "N" and tried to spead apart by using a rubber hammer and hitting the ears that stick out of the case and by tring to spread the case open with a gasket scraper. I would love to post pics., but don't have a camara handy.

So, I was wondering if anyone could give me info on splitting the two cases apart and possably some pics.

Oh, and go ahead and call me a f#*kin newbie!!

Thanks for your time, Tim Madden

There's one bolt hidden under the tranny shifter case. Not uncommon to miss that one since it's hard to get at/see
