front locking devices

is arb the only person who makes a locker for the front of a tracker/sidekick? i have been looking for a way (without welding) (or spending a grand) to lock the front, does anyone know of another locker for the stock front end of a 95 tracker?

There are other options, you could put
a limited slip diff or a Lock-Rite, the locker
will give the most traction, but is harder to
stear and can break axles and housings.
The limited slip will be normal feeling until
there is slipage, but will not hook up as
tight as a locker and allow easier steering
when needed. Lockers are about $250
Limited slip is about $450  ARB is quite a bit
higher than both, but you can't beat the selection
between open and locked

the steel third is a great choice, but if i was to lock my front axle, it would be ARB only

Ive called Hawk and they told me they didnt machine the carriers. Actually the guy told me he never heard of doing that...???  If there is a machine shop nearby it only takes a minute to cut out that lip.

call trailtough ... I got the front locker from my trac from brent ... it's an AU third housing, but his price wasn't bad. (I paid for the locker, the machining, the sami carrier ... total was under $400)
