I NEED A NEW WINDOW MOTOR FOR X-90 . ANY OPTIONS ?

MY 1996 X-90 DRIVER WINDOW IS REALLY SLOW GOING DOWN. ANY IDEAS HOW TO FIX ? WILL ANY OTHER WINDOW MOTOR WORK ? I GUESS IT IS MOTOR AND NOT A SWITCH ? WERE COULD I FIND A MOTOR IF THAT IS PROBLEM ? THANKS. MARTY

My 98 has the same problem. Pull the door pannel off and watch the bottom of the glass when you raise the window. Mine had become loose in the bracket allowing the rear od the glass to pull up out of the bracket causing it to bind.

Next time you roll the window up, try pushing down or pulling up on the rear edge of the glass and see if it speeds up. If it does, all you need to do is clean the tracks and tighten the bracket that holds the bottom of the glass.

thanks for the help. tried cleaning but still window is real slow window. clicking sound going up. also u might know that the rubber wndow seal at the top has rotted out. fell off. so i now i have 1/3 inch gap at top of drivers side window. i might try to glue it back. marty

Try calling Hawk Strictly Suzuki at 1-888-SAMURAI. They will probably have the trim, motor, whatever you need (cheaper than factory)
