Speedometer cable removal
« on: November 03, 2011, 06:48:32 PM »
86 Samurai; Can the speedometer cable be removed without draining the fluid first or will all the fluid leak out?

Thanks,
Jim

Yes, you can remove just the cable from the tcase and no fluid will leak out.  Remove the bolt from the bottom part of the tcase speedo assembly, wiggle the cable and it should slide right out.
