I started to hear a knocking sound coming from my rear diff a while ago and ever since i stop driving and
i ordered a rear lockright locker and i finally got around to getting the rear diff disassembled and found out
that i broke off 2 full teeth on the pinion and two chips off the ring gear. and now my problem is i cant find
a replacement because calmini has them temp discontinued. and they don't have stock ones only the 13.5%
reduction ones and that would mean i would have to replace both front and rear. other problem is i went to
local stores in my city and no one will bring anything in for an imported sidekick only domestic cars.

any one know where i can get a stock ring and pinion out of a 1998 Sidekick Sport?

So have you got stock gears in there, or the 5.83 aftermarket gears that they used to sell?  Stock gears should be 5.12s (41 teeth on the ring, 8 teeth on the pinion).
I probably have a complete 5.12 rear third around here for your sport.  Yours has rear ABS right (electrical connector on the rear third)?

ummm there the stock ones the 5.12 i think i haven't done any research but i know for a fact there stock

I have a rear out of a 96 Sport. The third I have does not have the electrical connector on it. The Sport I had, had the ABS on the end of each axle by the brakes. PM me if you need it.

no abs ring behind the ring gear...that means no abs in the third member...although you knew that, lol..just keeping you on your toes!!...lol

LOL.  I don't deal with sports enough to remember all the different details on them.  I know they all have 4 wheel ABS, I just didn't remember where the rear sensor(s) were located. 

I see 8 pinion teeth.

How many ring gear teeth?  Ring/pinion= ratio.
