its when you rotate you pinon upword to get your driveshaft stright with the pinon.  it will also incease flex if you do it with F-150 shocks.  If you go to "Article Archive"  you can go down to the tech section and see how its done.  its in the small section on the right side with HAGEN on top.

You should never point the pinion at the t-case output unless you intend to either put a cv shaft on the rear or purchase alot of u-joints. Yes you get less bind under droop but with a standard shaft you will eat joints, on a regular basis.

What Rockrat is trying to say is that your diveline angles must match if your using a standard one u-joint each end driveshaft. Another words if the transfer case to diveshaft angle is 15 degrees, then the other end needs to be -15 or -17 degrees. If you run a double cardan joint (cv) then you must make it 0 or -2 degrees at the rear.

Ya, That sounds like a mis-stated piece
of information, the Axle Rotation corrects
the effect of the lift on the U-Joints, reducing
the angle of the U-joints, which helps their
life.

The rotation I did keeps the pinion pointed at
the output on the trans at all stages of extension
and compression, and offers a little more clearance
for bigger tires, adds about 1 inch, maybe more.

i think the article is about

OVER-ROTATING THE DIFF.   up!

not rotating it straight at the t-case .point the diff slightly above the t-case and set proper u-joint angles .

Always set the pinion a dgree or 2 below the output, that cancels out spring wrap which will turn the pinion into alignment.. Never above the output

Spring wrap on a trackick?  ::) I would never do this on a sami because of the spring wrap but a trackick is 3 link. Their is no spring wrap. Ive been doing it for 5 years and almost 300,000 miles between my two Trackers... I can assure you it doesnt eat u joints, axle bearings, Ring or pinions or anything of the kind. All RPM Trackers have their rear axles over rotated as shown in the artical. Not one Tracker has had a single u joint go bad or anything remotely related to this mod. I recomend this mod to everyone with a lifted trackick.
