If you look on the firewall right behind the brake pedal there is a little black box. Unplug it and the light goes out.  ;)

Does that mean it worked and the light went out or not?

Means the box he was talking about was the ECM. Hence the ;) he gave. LOL.

:) Maybe I was a bit to quick in my assumptions when I looked under my pedal last night, and found the nearest thing to be the ECM. LOL.

I've seen the box he's referring to... look for a black plastic case that sort of looks like an ECM, but it's all black plastic and should be hanging on the firewall in the vicinity of the brake pedal...
