Front axle shafts????HELP!!!!!
« on: March 31, 2006, 11:13:12 PM »
Hello All,

I need to find two front drivers side axle shafts...I'm widening my front end and thought I could make a spacer....But after cutting it out, drilling it...It will not work...The CV axle has to set in the spacer etc...So If any on out there has 1 or 2 let me know ASAP. I don't care if they are bend, striped, broken, rusted, etc. All I need is the 3 bolt flanges....Only other thing is take to machine shop and have it turned on a lathe$$$$$$.  PLEASE HELP....I know some one out there has some stripped ones.....

I'm hoarding them, ALL of them
Muhuhahaha   ;D

BTW you only need one of them the center
the CV axle, the bulk of the spacer can be
whatever, steel if you want to weld the flange
the the spacer, I had a spacer made of aluminum,
cost me about $50 a few years ago.

Yep I know...But two would make it easy.....I think I'm going to get a holesaw and cut a 3" hole in 1/8" plate and weld that to "MY SPACER" What is your spacer thickness??? This thing is eating lots of money now.....LOTS!!!! My 33's are rubbing the frame...So I'm doing the Hagen frt end mod...Got 1 extra axle...There where 2 on e-bay....I only got one...Should have got the other also...It was a 26 spline...but to cut it up who cares...
