98 Suzuki X-90: Calmini 2" Sus, 1-1/4" whl spcrs, 2" Exhaust, Cobra Safari Bar, Neon, Sold.
96 Suzuki X-90: Mostly stock daily driver(for now)

I am jealous of your Zuki stash Digger.. ESPECIALLY that new red addition!!!

Are you going to do anything to that one?? lift? tires?  I LOVE that car.

Well, it's already got a 2" Calmini suspension lift and 1-1/4" TrailTough wheel spacers. I originally had thoughts of trying to make it trail worthy, then I had thoughts of reverting it back to stock and using the lift pieces on a different rig, but after driving it from Florida to PA through twisty mountain roads I'm not changing a thing on the suspension! ;) ;D

It's pretty much perfect the way it is for what I want out of it, so it's pretty much much done except for some cosmetics and comfort additions....

2000 Grand Vitara.. boondox coil spacer lift w/ pro comp 2 inch lift shocks and ome struts. 225/75 R16 Kumho Mt's, powdercoated wheels, rear brake line relocation and stuff to acomodate. custom exhaust and intake along with some 1 off accesories.

my vitara was once upon a time black and stock as a rock. i lost all my early pics of it when my old computer crashed. i only have pics of it after it was resprayed, which was the 2nd week i got it.



here it is 4th month of ownership. NO LIFT worn 31"s, 15x8 wheels trying to work out where to cut the guards.


235/75R15 MT/Rs on stock rims with 1" coil spacers


with new 31" good year MT/Rs and 1" of lift (coil spacers)

31" tyres, longer shocks in back and 3" BL

33" MT/Rs with fuel tank lift

What size tires are these?, and is this calmini 3" suspension lift only? no body lift?
Maybe these before and after picts should include what was done so those of us who will be doing these things some day can see what the rig will look like when certian mods are done to it.  All I have done so far is put on bigger tires, I dont think that warrents a before and after pict.

I agree, I will be upgrading my Samurai eventually, I would like to know what each mod would look like. Could a mod or admin sticky this thread also?

You know what i'd like to see that you rarely ever do see?

flat ground shots.

i like all the cool flex shots and action shots.  but i'd like to see pictures of lifts on just a regular flat surface like a road.  Just to get a good idea of not just how a certain lift will look visually but an idea of how much ground clearance it gains.  everyone puts on a lift and climbs the first curb or rock they can find and snaps pictures.  But i just want to know how high it sits and how much room the wheel wells have left and whatnot.
