will a 16 valve tracker engine work with the calmini adapter plate for the samurai?

I am running a 16v in my Sammi. The conversion was done by TT, but I don't see why they wouldn't have an adapter. It is a fairly common swap.

I assume you mean the engine adapter plate...

Yes!

The block on an 8-valve and 16-valve is (nominally) the same.  Different years may have more or fewer sensor holes but where it bolts to the transmission is identical.
