what year of shock has the "post" top on it and not the eyelet?

no cutting or welding, just bolts right up.

too short ;D

I think I want longer because im going to have about 4.5" of lift in the rear.

Use the part number I listed on FIBC Tyson, it's a bit long for a 2" lift but should be pretty close for what you want. Or hit up a Lordco and look through their book to get the length you want. Remember to space the 3rd link equal to your lift or you'll have problems.

Monroe part # 32162, I think they are 22" or 24" long if memory serves

How are you getting the 4.5" of lift for the longer shocks?
