I'm sorry to all I may have offended with any bad words about Calmini.

But the reply given by Steve really hurts. I'm sorry to have linked this here, but I felt my online friends needed to see it.

I hear 9 complaints about them compared to 1 compliment, there's a reason for it I guess.

I have had good luck from Calmini, but I bought a less popular item (2" lift).

You Heather on the other hand have purchased much from them and had good luck with the products.  I am floored by the response Steve gave you!  :o

Kind of leaves a bad taste in one's mouth!   :-/

Yea, a re-run of the post on here a few weeks ago!

Sounds like the same OL Calmini bashing Bull shit to me.

Once again back to my same comment, IF SOMEONE DOES NOT HAVE IT IN STOCK LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Dont order it, wait and bitch. The dude was even complaining about Sami stuff :-/ Waiting when he had not been charged and there are vendors with it in stock all across America. Instead of bitching he could of easily ordered form someone else when he found it was not in stock.

Then bitching about no help after the sale? They must be asses on the phone demanding stuff instead of asking. I have ALWAYS gotten top notch help with any questions I had about every item I ever purchased.

People assuming they are pulling out of suzukis and bitching when he wont GIVE items to a bunch of people that bitch about his product, I'm pissed I even clicked on a Bullshit Pirate Link (like every other pirate link I have viewed)

Then the guy that ordered a skid from SOMEONE ELSE but bitching about Calmini, yea that's a good comment.

Then thee is Ms Lucy waiting on a set for 4-months (once again, you dont like it they can order somewhere else) then stating that they adverties items well before they ever plan on making and selling them (SHOW ME!!!!)

Then  a VERY APPORPRIATE responce from Steve (besides he should of included a FUCK YOU to the guy.

Then an apporporiat responce to you, besides the fact he should of left out the stupid comments. Your comment was an assumption that was only to stir up shit on pirate (like most pirate posters) I was shocked when I read your post and did not see you as someone that would stir up shit (rumors) about them leaving the Zuk market :-/

Then finally it comes out in the last post; "I have not received any apoligies from your staff, however I have not expressed any of the problems I have had over the phone" :-/ If your that disgruntled SAY SOMETHING to them, dont go bitching to others starting yet another bitch fest.

I can see you 'being hurt' by the comment he said to you on the post, but look at it form his point of view, YOU were spreading rumors that his company was getting completely out of Suzuki aftermarket, on one of the largest 4x4 BBS out there, with NO foundation of evidence or reason to make the comment. I would of been pissed too.

Yep, I can see your point.

I guess I fell into the "spreading the word of mouth that I have already heard" group. (the gossip group)

Like I said, I'm sorry to who I may have offended.

I "DID" hear that they were pulling out, but if it's not true, then it's not true, and I'll stop continuing on that rumor.

Maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist that seems to find all the mounting problems with Calmini and the non shipping of products to be fitting right in with the "pulling out" scenario.

Anyway, Sorry, Zig. I'll delete this thread if that's in the best interest.

For a company to reply to ANYTHING in that manner speaks volumes about them as a company.

A more appropriate answer from Calmini to Heather would have some something to the tune that;

You seem to have the incorrect information about us.  Here is why.

To call somebody 'stupid' is totally out of line, no matter who you are.

On top of that to insue that Heather and I are phony as a 3 dollar bill is about as rediculous as it gets.  Definately as immature as a student calling another student in school names.

But coming from a representative of a major company?  What was he thinking?

You always keep personal attacks out of business and let peoples comments speak for themselves.

Personally Brian,
I have a few questions for you.  No answer needed.
#1) Do you feel that Heather is 'stupid'?
#2) Do you expect the vendors whom you do business with to talk about their customers, publically I might add, this way?

#3)Do you feel that Heather and I are phoney as a 3 dollar bill?
#4)Again would you like to do business with a company who talks about their customers this way?

Granted it might have been wrong for Heather to 'add fuel to the fire', however she may genuinely feel, may have heard and wanted to express her opinions about Calmini.

For this, about all we can do to genuinely assist in 'solveing the problem', would be for us to ask questions from, and guide the misguided.

What was he thinking?

I'll bet you $3.00 that he wasn't thinking at all.
I can't believe it, myself.

So I wonder how much he bad-mouths ME, to other customers?

I have ordered parts from a couple different places over the last couple years. I personally never had a problem with Calmini's service or shipping. I always had the item within a week. And when I called with questions about installation, whoever it was I talked to on the phone was polite and helpful and I never got the impression They were rushing off the phone. They had time to answer my questions. This was a lot better than my experiences with Rocky Road!!! (but I wont go into that again)

That being said though, I also attended Gonzookin this year and was wondering why Calmini hadn't helped sponsor the event when many other companies had. Even Rocky Road helped out, which surprized me based on my own opinion about them. I can see both sides of this, Heather shouldn't have repeated rumours without researching more and Steve shouldn't have slammed her so hard. I also see Zig's view; if I needed a part and had the money, I would search for it and only order it from a vendor that had them in stock rather than backorder it and complain about it...
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...

That's a rough thread there on Pirate. Now I'm still a off-raod newb (so don't get on my case if I'm wrong), but I can't believe that the owner of Calmini would be so harsh to his "valued" customers. I can understand that maybe you need to be patient. But from every other post I've read, Calmini always seems to take forever to ship anything. I'm sure they make great products, but it sucks to see that people constantly have to wait for said products for months at a time. If they don't have an item in stock, they shouldn't take peoples orders. Plain and simple. It would be so much easier on both ends that way. I they have it in stock, take an order and ship it. If it's not in stock, tell them to check in later to place an order. The other sh*t end of the stick was mentioned in the Pirate post that people don't have anywere else to turn for some parts too. So you're basically forced to deal with crap customer service because some things you just can't find at other companies not to mention that they're almost always more expensive. Hopefully someday companies like Trail Tough and Aftermarket 4x4 will make more parts for Track/kicks and Calmini will be forced to wise up their act.
