This is a waste of posts, there could be good information here...

I'm glad this is hopefully over now, I've been glued to it ever since it happened. Now I ca concentrate on more important things. Like Trailer Park Boys.

I just got in from a long weekend of kick ass wheeling and I was happy as a pig in a puddle... then I see this. I only post on this board because I enjoy comming here. This I do not enjoy reading. This whole thing is wrong from so many different ways.

The BBS is a very powerful tool to move info fast. Unfortunatly Bad news travels even faster. People are more likely to post when they are unhappy about a company than if they were happy. I was raised with the mentality that if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say it at all. That being said, this will be my only post on this topic.

Ive seen a lot of ugly comments in this post and I think several of you will regret what you said in a few days. I know I regret reading it and I hope Eric deletes it, if that is even possible.

I too just got around to reading this post.  It is hard to believe that all of you guys are talking this way about calmini.  I bought my zuki about 6 months ago and after talking with you guys i was told the best company to buy from was calmini.  Now i am wondering what happend to that.  you guys here one negative and every one is jumping in on it.  Give them a brake if they dont have the parts how can the ship it?  And they dont take your money tell they ship.  ALot of companys would take your money and get around to shiping when they get a chance.

Nate,
I know you are being honest to me. When I started my original reply to Heathers post I was going through the Pirate thread as I was replying to it here. I was shocked and could not believe what I was reading when I got to Heathers thread. I almost deleted my reply but after think ing of the fact that she brought it here, I felt it should be posted. I am nothing but a customer of Calmini and was appauled to see that post. As for the comparison to IDAHOLWB, every link and comment I posted was researched before I made that post and yes I think it is a far stretch to even consider what he was doing to people any thing close to delayed orders. And all of this started over comments on delayed orders and elevated when rumors started flying.

I can also see that we are getting no where with this debate and think the agree to disagree is best.

No hard feelings here and I hope there are none their either (You or Heather). Please feel free to PM me with anything you wish to discuss privately.

Signing off on Page 10 ;),

I've never bought anything from Calmini.  I can't say that this is a very big reason as to why.  I just bought my Zuk with some stuff on it, and we make our own stuff here at LMS.  So I guess I don't take the issue as personally as some others.  But, a man like the Steve who lines his pockets with you guys' hard earned $$ and then turns around and trashes all/some of us in such and unprofessional manner because he is too cheap/lazy/dumb to expand his operation to handle the volume of demand he knows he will get, is quite low on the human food chain in my opinon.  And so is anyone who backs that m*f* instead of a friend(Zig).  I won't begin to say that Calmini is the devil.  There are many unseen positives to this thread.  It has exhibited how close knit the Zuk community is, no one is gonna rip us off, or dick us around because we look out for one another.  One of the best things to tell someone when they ask "why do you drive that Suzuki" is to tell them that it can do MORE than a Heep or a full size for about 1/5 the cost.  We can give alot of thanks for that to Calmini.  But you know what, as you can see from the pirate thread, there are many more options available to us.  And isn't it great that at Zuwharrie or GonZukin, we get snubbed by argueably our biggest vendor, and still have kick ass raffles! That's thanks to every other vendor that we are so lucky to have.  Guys like Sean DeVinney who not only donates nice shwag(that I happend to win at GonZukin...Thanks again Sean) but comes out to wheel with all of us every chance he gets.  So, I hope we all can stop looking at this thread as a black eye upon us all, and start seeing the good that we've all overlooked so far.

Everything I have posted is my personal feelings towards an unfounded comment made by a friend towards a friend (that is also a vendor) that has done nothing but give me awesome products, service and guidance through installing each and every item I have bought through them. If Steve would initiated this I would be standing differently, but that is not the case.

I would express my feelings towards my best of friends just like I did Heather and Nate (whom I consider friends)and hope they would do the same if they felt the same way about something I posted. If that makes you see me as 'low on the food chain', so be it. It will not change the way I feel.

Thanks Brian for the additional insight.  I really appreciate it.

I'm sure we'll be able to remain friends due all of this.

I'm sorry to everybody else whom this may have caused a divide between, as none of this was intended.

Cheers,
