slipyoke elimimateors?

slipyoke elimimateors?

has anyone thought about slipyoke eliminators for trackicks,is anyone working on it?

None available for sale but a couple of home brewed ones.
Trail Tough sells a longer slip yoke.
I'm going to use a Sammie T-case (Kicker 3)

Ya, I designed one, but you have to drill
and tap the output shaft to bolt it on.

I don't know how comfortable you would
be doing this kind of work on the T-case

Hey, we need some pics/illustrations/in-depth descriptions of this, as it's a much cheaper solution that OTT Kicker 3 for SAS ;)

drilling and tapping the tailshaft os the only way unless you want to make a new shaft. Why would you have a problem drilling and tapping? J**p's have been doing it for years.

i need 1 for front 1 for back, would you use sammy flanges? wasnt shur how or if it could be done. isnt the transfer case shaft hardened? if i could do this id buy t/case gears for track,if not im goin with sammy trans and t/case as well :-/

whacha mean kicker 3? sammy case mated to trackick case? ive thout about this on my project tracker,but driveshaft angles and clearence was an issue, i may try on this one and see if i can work it ont but id rather just get out of it w slipyoke elimonaters.

Thats one main reason I'm going 4dr ;D
Plus I'm planning on 37s so the extra high gear reduction would be perrrrrrfect ;D

Why going for a 4door?  It would be a problem (kicker 3) with a swb Sidekick ?  OTT says that the kicker 3 is ideal for SWB's.

I mean that I want to try out a SYE on one of my spare t-cases, but have never seen anyone do one, so I'd need some pics or descriptions to help get the gears turning.

I guess I could probably figure it out myself, I just don't want to ruin a couple T-cases in the process :-/

Has anybody here performed this on their track/kick ?

Any results?  It looks like a great idea.  I'd bet the Sammy flanges slip right on.  

I'd think my only concern would be the clearence between the neck of the output shaft housing and the diameter of the sammy flange.
