I should of quoted the "what comes with a 1.3" :P

1.3L only came in the 89's here in the USA. And I was thinking they had 5.62, but I'm not real posative about it.

90+ Sidekicks from CA. with 5 speed tranny and 4 doors came with the possible 5.38's. Very rare  and hard to find. Ask me how I know.

That would tend to make sence in a
4 door, tho the 16V 4 door came with
5.12 I thought, So how do you know ???
You need one or have one ?

Some new info, it was there all the time
I just noticed it  ::)

The 3 speed auto Trackers with a 16V
engine came with 4.30 diff gears, I don't
know if the SideKicks came that way also,
I would assume so but ???

Thats the same as me with 5.83s
on 33 swampers, bone stock with
235 tires was 4000 at 70 MPH

I'd say you got 4.62 R and Ps

Try driving a 1.3 FI sammy with 5.38 gears and a 6.5 tcase.  At 65 it is pulling about 4700 rpms. The  harmonics those rpm's create is nerve racking.
Wildgoody, I have kick 5.38's in the hybrid rear and a spare 5.38 pumpkin from CA. The zuk recycler had to pull  quite a few diffs to find me one. You know where to find any?

I only know of the aftermarket
Yukon gears, they come in 5.38
