A few weeks after I got my black Tracker, I had a moderate leak... after driving 8 miles, it'd end up draining all the coolant out of the reservoir and some out of the radiator. I checked, double-checked, and rechecked again EVERY single coolant line I could see... and you know what it ended up being? A small hose that runs from the metal rail on the block underneath the intake manifold to the bottom of the manifold had a split in it. Not only was it hard to find out in the first place, it was twice as hard to replace... I ended up tearing off the manifold just to get to it. fucking fat hands >:(

I bet this is your issue right here Boostn!!

I had the EXACT same hose split in my tracker also. I got long ass skinny fingers, so I didn't have to pull the manifold.  ;D (But I almost did!!!!)

Have you checked it with the engine at operating temp and then shut the engine off?

If you have a pinhole leak (in the radiator tank, cooling fins, or a hose), it will spray out pretty strong when the engine is shut down.

My friend (mechanic) had a better look at it tonight while under the truck. It seems that it is actually leaking under the passenger side, towards the fron of the truck. He found some coolant laying on the front passenger side tie rod. We still couldn't see where it was coming from.

My under carriage is pretty dirty, and unless we power washed it we won't get a better idea.

What do you guys think?

OK... it sounds like it's not the overflow tank or hoses leading to it.

It's probably time to replace the hoses on the rig. (I don't recall that you mentioned the year of the trucklet, but it's probably over 5 years since the hoses have been replaced.)

Stick on a couple radiator hoses and the leak will probably go away.

Ya, quit jacking around with the trucklet
and change the upper/lower and the little
hoses on the bottom of the intake and the
heater hoses, then give her a shot of fresh
50/50 anti freeze and be done with this leak.

This will cost you less than a blown motor

There's also the O-ring on the water pipe.  Mine wasn't leaking and it seemed like such a pain to get to that I didn't change it, but if/when I have the manifold off, I may do so.

Anyway, it's really likely it's one of those hoses attached to the water pipe, but, you may want to watch the throttle body and make sure you don't have a gasket leaking there.
