the detroit ez-lockers and a lockrites are essentially the same thing.

Yep, accept that I had nothing but trouble with my EZ-Locker while the guys in my club running lock rights never had an issue.  I would recommend the Lockrite that uses stock side gears for an auto-locker.

For the front end it's hard to recommend going against a ARB though after I have used one.  But with power steering it is probably less of an issue.
