I know I will definitely be buying a 12 bolt 5.83 if/when they ever become available as I have a lonely 5.83 front sitting here waiting to be used and a 6.33 would be the next choice for me.

I'll sell ya my 5.83's if they ever make the 6.33's  ;D

I'm tryin to figure out why someone would vote for 4.57???
4.62 is already available (just call hawk or trailtough and you can get 4.62 for either a trac/kick or a sami)
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy it.

6.33:1 that's absurd, the pinion will be so small and really easy to break.

Have you seen a Samurai 5.83:1 pinion... it looks like chicken drumsticks

6.33's, my mouth is watering, but Could the pinion be made strong enough to hold up?

Ditto on his question.

Yeah...that stuck in my mind...lots of teeth for itsy bitsy ring and pinion.

I voted for the two 5.xx's as both are good choices for IFS Suzi's while also being VERY low for Sami owners.

Kicks have the following available

Ratio Ring Pinion

4.3 : 43/ 10

4.625 : 37/ 8

4.785 : 39/ 8

5.125 : 41/ 8

5.38 : 43/8

5.62 : ?

5.83 : 35/6 Calmini

A 6.33 would be 38/6

Design and manufacture are important. Just because a ratio is say 5.83 it doesn't mean it is weaker than a 5.38

Nice to hear that new r&p is going to produced for Vitara and GV
I've already have 5.38 and I found them by second-hand here in zukiworld and I was very lucky!..

I say that because there are TOO MANY zuki enthusiasts here in GREECE that would like to have gears (bigger than 5.12)

so keep going on
P.S...5.43...must correct to 5.38 I think

Personally I would like to see a conversion that lowers the Low Range gearing, but leaves the high range as normal.
Especailly in a Vitara (or whatever the yanks call them)

No smaller than a 5.83, except 2 extra teeth on the ring.
