so i bit the bullet and put a Ford 9" rear end in with 5.83s because I couldn't get the zuki 5.83s. But i'm still running a sidekick rear-center section in the front with 12bolt 5.83s. i'll either need a spare set of 5.83s for the front, or maybe i'll just take the whole shootin match up to 6.33s... sounds like fun!

I'm curious as to why the 4.57's are getting votes. they are already available for Sammi's and I can't think of too many Kick owners that would want them as there is already a 4.6 available.

Whatever ratio gearing Richmond elects to invest their production into it will have to be the most marketable and cost effective for them to produce.   What's the largest vehicle population out there currently and what vehicle is growing in numbers (worldwide)?  Wherever that curve meets is probably going to be pay-dirt for their company.   If all the axle gearings for the Suzikis/Trackers were interchangable, oh what a world it would be and so much simpler.  Once the superlifts for the GV body styles is hammered out in the market place, everyone will be slipping sets of 33's and 35's under thier fenders.  My money says that will be a huge future market for a gear company (with their transmissions, differentials, lockers, etc.).   Demand for Samurais and ealry models of kicks is going down in the USA because they aren't making/marketing them here anymore.  What we have is what we got and they are rusting and dieing.  They will just about be gone in the next 10 years.

We need some more votes for the 6.33's here! 5.83's are great but not tall enough for a truck running 33's

The 4.57's are still getting votes and I still don't know why.  ??? I guess it must be Sammi owners who want more than one supplier of them  ::)

I HAVE 5.83 GEARS IN A 1998 GEO TRACKER.  THE REAR RING & PINON LOST SOME TEETH & HAVE BEEN WAITING 3 MONTHS FOR MY REPLACEMENT.

I VOTE FOR 5.83'S

I PLAN ON BUILDING ANOTHER RIG THE SAME AS MINE FOR MY WIFE.

I vote for 5,83 and 6,33's.

5,83 are fine with 31'', but i think that it's not bad to get 6,33's with a 32-33''.
I would like to get one pair, even 5.83 or 6.33. ::)

This Poll and the conversation has been rolled up / forwarded to Richmond. They were happy to see such a vigorous conversation and voting.  We'll update with any news as it becomes available.
