ok..so what were thinking now is making it a 2 seater only..but a kind of extended cab..so ud have the 2 froont seats and..lets back to the middle of the wheel wells a little closer to the back of the front seats..the tail gate would then be welded in there and a kind of removable shell will be made to go here..itl use like toyota truck rear glass or something similar

why would you want the bed covered?

I would think what you want to do is to
move the front wheels forward, and the
back wheels rearward, and improve the
approach and departure angles, a longer
over all length is going to work against
you for all around Zuking, in my humble
oppinion

well the wheels wil be moved fore and aft..so not alot of lenght will be added to the frame

and no the bed wont be covered..but a removable rear window type deal is what i was talking about to go inplace of the removable top in the rear now

I think streching it is a good idea for 37s.(you said 37s right?) Are you planning to street it at all? I think 103" is a good length for 37s. It depends on your terrain but I would think if you went much longer than that you would have high centering issues. At least around here you would.

one of my friends bought a convo kit for his yota a long time ago.  you cut most of the roof off and the top pease is a plexyglass.   the place he got it from has sence gone out of bidness but that might give you an idea.

Hmmm SO it should begin to look like this...
http://bbs.zuwharrie.com/content/topic,8850.15.html

Norzuki encolsed his cab with a hard top back door and did the Extended frame over the winter.  THis spring he went with the 1.6L & Toyota's w/rear spool.  Now he is building the bed.  Ã‚

These pics below were posted on the Zuwharrie board Sept 9th.  SO he's about right their with ya

i cant get my head around how the bed will look..no offense to anyone its just my taste but that orenge sammy up top kinda looks like the bed was an after thought..since im gunna be drivin this thing out side of the trail id like the bed to look a little more finished

not that i dont love the orenge one its just that if i can id like to make it look more factory..

I agree. You could tube the back into a structure that would hold flat side panels cut to the shape of a zuk rear.  Even bolt on stock flares to make it look even more natural. ;)

Here is a Sami that was stretched. The attention to detail on this rig is awsome:

As Mike stated, you could try this approach with stock looking body panels over the rear tubing. :D
