Samurai Question?
« on: January 01, 2009, 01:41:57 PM »
Ok so I want to take the body off the frame of my samurai. I was just wondering what all I have to do to get this accomplished?

I believe the FSM covers it.

You have to pull the electrical running from the engine into the dash, the shifter, clutch and speedo cable need to be disconnected, and the emergency brake.  Radiator will have to be pulled along with where the steering box connects (the rag joint).  Then just unbolt everything like on a body lift.

I would just start lifting it up slowly at that point and see what you missed.  :)
