This has to be a newbie question. I have radiator fluid pouring out the bottom of the intake manifold! is there a relief valve under there or do I have to start replacing hoses? it quit after a bit so I refilled the reservoir and it leaks just a bit. I'm guessing the thermostat is in-op so thats first on the to be changed list. Next I'm going threw the hoses....... Any other Ideas?

Guessing it's a Sammy by your ava pic? Not sure if they're similar to trackicks in this regard... but trackicks have a pipe under there that the hoses (heater & rad rtn) connect to... & an o-ring that's pretty common to leak shown here:

Maybe a sammy guy will chime in & confirm if they're similar setup. hth

  • And that's the way the metal crumpled!
The hose is a 5/16" heater hose. Normally there are at least 3 on a Suzuki engine regardless what size it is. Don't use fuel hose when you do it. Actually look around to as many parts stores in your area as you can until you find heater hose that size. Fuel hose can't handle the heat and coolant for long periods of time.

There's a few hoses around the intake / radiator. It's to help warm things up quicker. It's usually a couple bucks worth of hose to fix, but you'll need to feel around to find the leak (be careful if the engine's warmed up - the water will be hot).

K I'm gonna try to fined the hose. It's a bit tight working on the intake side, it's still fun. Thanks I'll let you know how it works out.

If you remove the air cleaner assembly the hose is easily accessed.

OK I couldn't find any tiny rad hose, I had a dummy at AutoZone tell me that fuel line is a better choice than rad hose? I had to leave...... it dose no good to get kicked out of Autozone.

Try a Carquest or NAPA if you have one close... If it's your DD and you need to drive it and they can order you some, use the fuel hose for now till the other shows and then change it out... Just don't leave it on for a long time...

The hose I had to replace could have been mistaken for a vacuum hose (in fact - I did mistake it for one, my friend spotted the right one). It was a little guy going to the carborator on "back" side (towards firewall).
