Also, Wild, how have your LTB's worn? What kind of pavement life expectancy can I expect out of them (I'm hoping I'll be driving under 3-4k miles next year)?

I quote someone, write my reply, highlight everything, then click back and quote the next message I want to quote and paste in the previous one ;)

That's my method. Steveo's works as well ;) ;D

I thought they wear OK, but I try to
switch to street tires so I don't burn
up the off road rubber for driving to
work. I had to put the LTBs on the
front coming back from Moab, man
I couldn't get the front aligned, it kept
pulling, I'd stop and adjust, no change  >:(
So I just drove it home, chewed about
half of the tread in 800 miles  :'(

I need to re-groove the tread so it's
deeper again, but as long you keep
the alignment good, they wear alright,
just remember they are like a 30,000
mile tire, soft tread compound wears
faster than a good set of Radials

Damn... now I'm really considering taking my brother's advice and slapping the stockers back on for the 200 mile trip to school in a couple weeks :o

I did get a chance to test them out, and I found out that they like to dig... A LOT... got myself stuck because they dug a 16" deep hole in some soft gravel :o :o

I definately need lockers (and 4wd :().

if you think you have power loss now, you will have alot bigger one with lockers.  i would do a few power adders or gears before doing lockers.

Header's probably coming before lockers... Lockers are in the distant future. Like 1-2 years at the soonest :(

Also, when I dropped the truck off and picked it up, the exhaust had worked itself loose, so I drove it home with open manifold... As you saw in my thread last night, I put the exhaust back together, and it's much better now. Not too much different than the radials... but there is noticeable difference between the two still.
