I run with a Jerry can on my rear bumper, it hardly ever has gas in it at these prices
Never had a cop say a word to me, besides it keeps the tailgaters back.

Here in Japan its the opposite they won't fill anything except metal cans..hmmm

Some plastics can create static electricity so you need the correct type of plastic, empty oil containers are no good at all. Many fuel fires are the result of static and one advantage of metal is you can ground the tank before filling.
