samurai axle relocate

ok guys i have all my parts to start my yj swap but as im looking what have you guys done to move the fuel tank back to clear the axle. im using a tracker tank and have not yet decided how far im going to move it but am looking for ideas /problems others have had. any help would be great

When I changed the suspension around I didn't move the tank at all, just accepted that I could only move the axle back an inch more then the stock position.

If you want to slide it further back I would look at adding a fuel cell, that way you can get one specific to your dimensions.  An alternative would be to get a body lift then move the tank up as well.

 If you have one of the many YJ spring kits available on the market, you shouldn't have to move your tank at all... And why did you put a Tracker tank in yours? Unless it's from a 4 door, it is only slightly larger.

the tracker tank has the fuelpump to run my 1.6 16v and i am not using a kit i am making my own brackets
