Yeah, they'll knife it cuz they're too lazy to undo some velcro and a zipper.

My Tracker was "broken into" (door unlocked) a couple weeks ago and they took my cd's and the face for my stereo cuz they couldn't the deck out. HA! But they tried getting into my locked glovebox and they snapped the nadle off. So now I need to buy a new handle for it. But it looks really easy to break off. But now I'm getting an alarm installed (Clifford Matrix RSX 3.5) simply because I'm tired of my cars getting pillaged and the sound system I plan opn putting in is gonna be expensive. The new deck I'm going to put in (Kenwood DDX7015) is not a removeable face either, so the car will stay locked. There's also a digital tilt sensor on it so if they try jacking up the car to steal the wheels the alarm will go off also.

Should my alarm go off when I'm home they'd better run faster than I can shoot. or if they are still hanging around the car then they need to prepare for an ASP beatdown. Ah, the pleasures of being a security guard.

That's a sweet show n' shine Tracker Phu.  Do you have some meaty tires to swap out to go muddin, or are you strictly a street guy?

Pretty much street but the more and more I look at muddin pics and vids the more I wanna go out.

But alas, I have only this 1 Tracker. But when I get a good paying job I'm going to continue with my intentions:

All the trackers I own are going to get Vitara grilles and headlights cuz the Tracker grilles are hideous, get slammed, 18-20" or larger wheels, thumping sound systems and whatnot. So yeah.. the Trackers are the street cars. Oh yeah, all are gonna get new engines. Mostly Mitsubishi and Nissan.

All the Vitaras I own are going to get lifted and set up for off-road use only. Bare bones interior, prolly sprayed down with bedliner, marine sound system, etc.

I've love these cars since I got my 1996 Tracker. Alas, she didn't last more than 8 months. (Rolled it on the freeway doing about 95mph. Walked away with essentially no injuries and knew then and there I'd be buying another one.)

Rollin' the tracker, makin' it HERT.  Nice man.  You shoulda kept the wreck and mudded with that!!  I think you need to find a couple hundred $$ beater tracker and go wheelin so you can get and appreciation for it.  If you break something(you probably won't unless you really make it hert) just leave it.

I've got a TinTop, but I still dont' lock it... Then again, 90% of the time that it's out of the garage it doesn't have the doors on it to lock.

I put the t-case in 4lo - so unless the thief knows 4x4's then they're probably not going far at a max-speed of 25MPH - that and trying to steal a spooled out rig on the road -- for most thieves is just too much effort to go through.

Kinda hard to keep it. Instant total by the insurance company and I couldn't buy it back. But I found out if I had 2 spare tires I prolly could have driven it home.

The blue arrow in the last pic is pointing to the only problem with the motor. Yes, the windsield washer fluid tank popped open.
