Alright! I got back from my trip and dug up these old pics of my original sound-proofing. I know they aren't the greatest but I know 92Sidekick4x4 wanted some pics.
Here's the rear all stuffed.

Not sure what the hell I stuffed there, but all I remember is that I got it out of an old wrecked crown vic and the stuff is awesome. It's like a white foam with carpet on it and it cut the engine noise down to a bare minimal!

Stuffed the middle cavities tight because of a bad rattle.

The floor carpeting was taken out and then used as a blueprint for the stuffing. I have almost 1 1/2 inch of sound proofing under the original carpet. Watch out for the back seat (4door), you have to do some riggin' to get the seat to settle back in properly.

I got lazy and just layed out some extra padding under my deep tread mats. It added to the engine 'deadening' goal. Very effective, although crude.
