looks purdy  ;D

but from my experience with Import Tuners those things can mostly do more bad than good.  the Altenators on these trucks are already seriously underpowered, i personally wouldn't aid in under powering the electrical system any more with an underdrive pulley.

Actually, if you can live without power steering and A/C i found when the belt to those snapped and were no longer dragging on the crank pulley it resulted in a noticeable addition of power...not Vin Diesel like power but i definitely felt a stronger spring in it's step.

I however can not live with out A/C, so i'm back to having my balls clipped (LOL)

i wouldnt do that..the stock alt is realy really really low on the out put scale (it is a trooper however and will last what seems like forever)

i would do spark plugs/wires and an air filter...i did that and i can deff tell a difference in throttle response. i am also going to get a snorkle so that should help the stiffled air box out. also try a high flow cat and exh. that should help ALOT

u could always go the turbo route..thats what im doing  ;D :P

In the scheme of things (without adding a turbo or supercharger) I don't think there's much you can do that will boost the power of these things too much, but I'm casting another vote for exhaust modifications (header, hi-flow cat, 2" cat back) if you haven't already done that.

I would disagree, I have found that a cam will really wake these little motors up, in particular, with intake, and exhaust improvments.

I haven't noticed much in the way of intake options (like Calmini's carburetor setup) for these things.  What do some of you have?

Also, what RPM range (low, mid, high) cams are you all choosing?

I guess what I'm thinking is that most upgrades get you low single digit % HP gains (if you're lucky).  Headers are often quoted around 10-15% increase.  With my 80+HP, that'd still leave me under well 100 HP.

I agree with Mac. I put a high torque cam in mine with 2" exhaust(no cat) and put a K&N type cone filter on. I am pushing 32 x 11.5 tires on the highway up and down hills in 5th gear. It has been a huge gain and we are estimating HP at approx 120. My next step is to add a header when cash allows.

I had mine ground to provide maximum torque at low rpm, I don't need a 5000 rpm screamer
