Welcome to the forum!
You're going to need a multimeter to test for voltage at different points along the circuit to find where the fault is. You can also use the multimeter to test for continuity or resistance between components.

REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR GROUNDS!

I've included the wire diagram from my 92 tracker service manual. I hope this helps!

Well, this is just an assumption but I would bet the brake and tail lights both use the same ground behind the drivers side taillight. So it's probably not that. Does your horn work? It runs from the same fuse.

Digital multimeters are really cheap nowadays. I know harbor freight and walmart sell some for under $10 and they work more than well enough for 12 volt applications. If I were you though I'd buy a better one as the cheapies have very low internal resistance so they're not suitable for working on electronic circuits like engine sensors. Checking ECM circuits with a cheap meter is a good way to burn the cars computer instantly. Not saying you need to get a Fluke or anything but in a truck this old engine drive-ability problems are bound to haunt you eventually and it's much cheaper to buy a decent meter than pay a mechanic big bucks to find a simple faulty sensor or coilpack.

You could also buy or make a test light to see if you're getting power to the brake light switch.

It's a pretty simple enough circuit. You shouldn't have too much trouble finding the fault.

I forgot to mention that I bought the '92 track service manual from ebay for $25. If you plan on maintaining this truck yourself, and I hope you are since it's almost 20 years old, the factory service manual is leaps and bounds beyond those pathetic haynes and chiltons manuals. It'll tell you everything about the vehicle from bumper to bumper and it's worth it's weight in GOLD.
If you need any more scans in the meantime just gimme a holla! These little trucks are worth keeping alive.

If you haven't already done so, checking the bulbs would be a good place to start.

They do use the same bulb as the tail lamps, but it is a dual filiament bulb and it is possible to have only one filiament fail, and yes, it is possible for both to be defective.

Bad bulbs or low brake fluid could make the dash light come on

The parking brake being on or low brake fluid in the resevoir are the most common reasons for the brake light to be on in the dash.
There is a connector behind the drivers side tail light (take the tail light out, to get to it/see it).  The wires do get corroded in this connector and can cause the fuel pump to stop working, the tail lights to stop working, any of the other rear lights to stop working....you get the idea.
There is also a ground wire that is screwed to the fenderwell in the same area.  Be sure to check it and see that it isn't corroded in two or not making a good connection.
