Thanks for adding the pics to this thread Jake. I was kind of suprised to see it labeled correct. Ive always been told this was wrong... but it made sence in my head so I did it anyway.

Well,I m ready to make the mod but when I tried to order the F150 shocks,they asked me,which year's model I want shocks for ? I remember they told me that there are at least 2 Rancho codes,and 3 more codes of other manufacturers.Which ones should I order ?Anyone knows the excact product code I should get ?
And also shock mounts ? any specific options or should I make custom ones ?

I just made my lower mount. I ground off the old mount and welded a new bolt style mount in the new location. I think Mike uses Monroe shocks but I'm not posative. When my Calmini shocks go bad I plan on getting RS9000's for mine.

Yes ,I did mention that,but the salesman insisted that there are 4-5 product codes.I dont know the Ford F150 cause its not imported in Greece,but maybe there is a variety in F150 99 models.He mentioned 3 product names for shocks.Rancho and 2 more.Anyway,thanks

o.k I guess I ll make my own custom shock mounts too.Also a friend told me that the Calmini shocks are Rancho,but I dont know which model.So the RS9000 are longer than the ones Calmini uses?

Yes. The Rancho 9000s are longer. It only gives ya about 4 inches of up travel.

The problem I ran into is comperssion length of the shocks without moving the upper mount. I have the Calmini shocks mounted where the springs fully compress 1/4" before the shock bottems out. I think I'm going to try and relocate the upper mount with the longer 9000's when my shocks blow out.
