It has only been gone for a month.  It was a good thing I had it because my busted suspension would have meant renting a trailer to get home from Montana.

Well, my day ended after 5 miles.  The passenger side CV adapter decided to twist off:

Are you going to try another one, or go back to stock?  That one didn't last long.

Ouch, that might put an end to a run!!

So... I might purchase a stinger front bumper for my truck tomorrow. Not really sure if its what I want but its better then no bumper, right!

And, what motor swaps can i do? I want more power.. I was thinking maybe a new focus 2.0 engine? But im not sure which transmission would work.

I do not know of any swap that is a direct bolt in, for more power.  So that means fab work, wiring, & alignment issues that need to be done.  If you are not prepared and have a place to do it, then I would recommend that you enjoy what you have until you are better prepared.  Drone637 ran his SJ410 for many years (36hp), and managed to climb and go where he wanted.  Trailers are about the same price as motor swaps, and if you can get your rig to a road they allow to you to drag them back home when things go wrong or break.  They also make long hauls more comfortable/tempting to do.

The SJ had 45 hp, thank you very much!  :D

We'll make up another adapter, the way it twisted I think the issue is that it slipped out a bit and was able to bind up.  We need to get that bushing to put in there, that will probably fix the issue.

The SJ-410 has 45hp.  The 1.3 in the Samurai is rated at 65.  The Trackers have 85 and 95 respectively.
