Bracket Question
« on: October 12, 2012, 10:06:13 AM »
After changing my head gasket I am down to this bracket.  I found a place to mount it back on to but it just doesn't look right.

Can anyone let me know where this bracket goes?   Thanks

it's kind of hard to see it, could you take the bracket back off and take a better pic of it?

That' right and there should be a plastic cover that attaches to that bracket with three small bolts, two on that bracket and one on the throttle body housing.  I don't think that bracket can be mounted upside down, wouldn't fit.

Yes it is installed upside down, the two holes for mounting the plastic cover should be to the top of the bracket, not the bottom. I'll take a pic in a hour or so when it warms up a bit and I get outside and remove that cover on my kick.

Yep, I had it upside down.  Nothing mounted top the top of it though.  I think the Zuk lost the plastic piece somewhere between 92 and 2005 when I tokk it over

Thanks

As usual the collective knowledge of the board knows all

Now I am going to try timing er and hopefully get er back on and off the road
