I picked this little 1991 tracker up for cheap, not sure what to do with it, part it out or fix it up.... only missing part is the hard top, and ignition switch/tumbler is broken, clutch is also messed up.. here is one pic, i will get more pics up soon

You should probably save it for parts, or replacement.  You are towing close to 4,000 lbs with a vehicle that weighs in just under 3,000 lbs.  I know the trailer has brakes to help stop this train, but on corners and mishaps that load can/will push you where you wouldn't want to be.  [Now this is coming from someone who does stuff with the Tracker, cause it can do it.  Just a CAUTIONARY Note.]  Must be pretty flat there, or you were using low range on the hills.
I would like to see your hitch setup also.
93 Tracker,XL7 springs & 1" raised spring pads in front with YJ springs in back, home built bumpers rear & front (w/winch), 2" x 4" rock tubes,  ARB front & rear, converted Sami rear to IFS, 33x12.5x15  aluminum rims, roll cage, 2.7L w/5 speed auto.

LOL  I pulled it with a nissan pathfinder home, around the driveway for the pic.....the little tracker would have done it, but slow goin on the hills....i was a little amazed that the trailer didn't sink the rear end on the tracker......
the hitch i think is a reese, curt makes one with a regular reciever, but its the small 1.5" reciever.  I am going to build my own with a 2" reciever.

Not to hijack the thread but could you post up a picture of the where the hard top meets the body ?
Oh and if it was me I would build a super thrasher out of it, something to beat the brush with!

I will later today, it doesnt have the top on it, and i cannot remember how the rear of the top sits, but i do know where the front sits from my other tracker (RIP)

This little tracker was def. run hard and put away wet, both front inner fenders are bent upwards into engine compartment, throttle cable has been jerry rigged with a piece of wire. ignition switch tumbler has been ripped out, and is "F***" up beyond repair, i see a universal starter switch in its future,,, however i did get the engine started and it sounds really really good, almost better than my blue one.
I also had a little time to investigate the clutch issue, the clutch pedal was stuck to the floor, i inspected the firewall mount point for the cable, and looks perfect.  The cable aslo moves freely, i found that the clutch fork lever had massive play, and upon moving it there is clattering noise coming from inside transmission bell housing, also on the drivers side of the trans there is a open hole about where the clutch fork lever rod might go, i am unfamiliar with how the clutch fork throwout bearing is designed, will be researching that today....

sorry took so long, in this pic right above the drop light there is two bolt holes, this is where the bow for the soft top mounts, and also where the hard to mounts, I do not remember if there was a rear mount...
