First I was wondering if the x-case is mated to the trans on either the 2.5 or the 2.7 from the GV or XL-7 or does it connect via a driveshaft? Does anybody have the inside scoop if any manufacturers are working on any Suzuki V6 to Samurai swap kits? How about the 2 liter out of a Vitara? Any bellhousing adapters? How much harder would it be to wire in the 2 liter vs. the 1.6 16V? I just don't think a 1.6 8V would satisfy my power needs, although it's by far the easiest swap. I don't want a 4.3 Vortec or VW turbo diesel. I want to keep this one all Suzuki.
There are a lot of questions in there.

I don't think you'll see a V6 to Samurai transmission adapter because the sizes of the bellhousing are quite a bit different. Also, there really isn't enough room in a samurai for the V6 engine unless you run a body lift because this motor is really-really tall. However, I just heard word, an unconfirmed sighting if you will, of a Samurai in Salem, OR sporting a 2.5 liter engine.... Here's a plausable option for you / or combo that'll bolt together: 2.5 or 2.7 V6 mated to GV automatic mated to a Sidekick case with a Crawler gear set. That's what I've got in my green Sidekick and it sounds like there is
a chance it'll fit in a Samurai although I don't see how...
Good Luck, Eric
