Need help on pricing 88 Suzuki Samurai
« on: October 09, 2018, 07:00:59 AM »
I am finally selling my dad's SUZUKI.

1988 Suzuki Samurai.

It has been in the family for awhile after he passed, we have just held on to it since it was his most prized possession.

It has 112k+ miles and he pretty much babied it.

It needs a new battery and I think a new carburetor from my understanding.

What is the market price for this SUZUKI?

Sorry to hear about the passing of your father.
If this is a cherry Samurai with truly 12K miles, you have a nice nugget of gold. There is almost a cult-like following of these very capable little vehicles. If it's all stock, it may be worth more. If there are modification (maybe some not visible) it could possibly add or detract from value. Check around on craigslist and eBay on similar Sammys. Take some more pics - inside, under, engine compartment, etc. I can't tell by your profile where you are located but finding the right buyer locally will be your ticket. Other sites I visit are https://bbs.zuwharrie.com/content#gsc.tab=0 and https://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/13-suzuki/ (I see you already posted on this one).
My guess is in the $5K range but it's just a guess.
It's all about the journey, not the destination

I'm in Houston, TX
It's almost stock. It has aftermarket rims, missing the back seats and has a K&N air filter.

Thank you for the help! I appreciate it.
