I haven't heard of it being done, but I think it's "do-able" - it won't be a "bolt up" type swap, but it also shouldn't be too challenging - the frame on the Sidekick Sport is wide enough to accept the V6 without too much of a squeeze, as it was designed from day one to take the H20A, and there were actually more SV620 (known as the V6 Vitara Estate) built than SV418 (the Sidekick Sport) - I would suggest doing an entire drive train swap, with the exception of the axles, if you change transmissions you're going to end up with major ECM/TCM/BCM challenges.
