Soon as I get the chance I am going to grab the spare rim I bought, have the cooper tire put on there and balanced and see what happens.
The Zuke is on its way out.  Getting a vehicle that will behave and be supported by the dealer.

Well I had planned to do the rim swap this Sat but managed to get talked into going to camp at Leeper to hunt grouse and pheasant.
So...........I guess it'll have to wait.

I hope I have better luck getting a bird than I do with tires these days.  :(

Today I went to a goodyear dealer and swapped out the "suspect" rim for the extra rim I bought.  THis extra rim was the spare from the guy's rig.
So far, the vibration seems ok.  I will continue to monitor.  It seemed at its worst when the vehicle has been sitting for a while in cool weather, kinda like the tires are getting flat spots.  That I have seen before and junkstone seemed to be the worst (my company tarus had them once)
We'll see.

What amazes me is the prior rim, I saw with my own eyes on the balancer being spun.  Yes, it was a tad out of round, a bit of a wobble but I never woulda thunk it causing so much darn vibration. ???

As I said, this rim is the extra one from the guy, a spare, and its never been on a rig until today.  We'll see. ???

I bought a set of rims from Summit Racing and they have the same exact problem.  Mine are so bad that people stop me to tell me that my tire looks like its gonna fall off.  I'm thinking of just going back to my stock rims and 1"spacers.  What a waste of $400 dollars...Summit wouldn't listen to my complaint because I already mounted the tires.  :'(

Ummm thanks. Alot. Seriously. My friend was about to purchase some rims from Summit. But, thanks to you, you possibly prevented a problem before it started.
