Where do you want to go? What do you want to show your fellow Suzuki Enthusiasts? Is there somewhere you and/or your group would like to go?

Post away!

Actually, I don't know of any places around here... might have to start asking around and searching :)

It's just if I were to attend any of these rides, they'd have to be a reasonable distance away from me... like a few hundred miles at most... so even Ohio or Illinois would be fine... just seems like there are never any events up here :-/

Only big offroading area that comes to mind is Silver Lake... 3000 acres of dunes :-/

Whereabouts in WI is your dad's place located?

If I can get some time off work, a way to tow the Tracker, and an event reasonably close, I'd definately beinterested in attending ;)

If you go to www.rpm4x4.com on the left click on Apple Valley Farms, there is a map there.

RUBICON! I went about a month ago with the guys from EDGE BROS and we owned that trail. There needs to be a run there.
You can take the Sammy off the trail, but you cant take the trail out of the Sammy.

You could do Tellico or Windrock in the TN/NC area.

Ã‚ Someone mentioned something in Ontario.  Myself and my LMS compatriots would be down for something like that if it was near the border.  We're here in Buffalo so it would be good for us too.  I've got no qualms about trailering my Zuk across Far-off-Lands.  Any of our north o' the border Zuki-head's got ideas about where to hold and event in Ontario?

And this might be a stupid pipe dream, but I'm pretty sure a requirement for a Hummer dealer is that they have an off-road course to test the product on site.  I'm sure the course wouldn't warrant and entire event, but if we found a dealer near a park that could use the pub, maybe we could kick off and event there, and then poker run all the Zuks down the road to the event.  Would be a cool deal if someone could put it all together.  Unfortunatly, one of the few franchises the dealer group I work for doesn't have is Hummer, so I'm of no help in this case.  Also, just a poker run of Zuks through town before a rally to turn heads would be cool!

I'd love to see a trip in Colorado, in the Gunnison/Buena Vista area.  There is a lot of history in the area, gold mining relics, old ghost towns, etc.  I've done a number of trips in the area, it'd be easy to arrange an 80 or so mile loop on mostly moderate, high altitude trails.  This could be arranged to be between one and two easy days on the trail.

I lead some family over some of these trails this summer.  There are pictures online at:

I'd love to do a trip to Colorado ;D  I will also do  a run to the Rimrock area of WA.  I would also like to do a 3-4 day "Tour of Washington" run.  I would start up north or down south and cover alot of ground by hitting the most popular trails in Washington.  Rigs would have to be limited to the most reliable, unbreakable, and smart drivers around.  Naturally I would have to be the leader ;D  Shut up Eric, the rig will be redone by then >:(  It's something I've been kicking around in my head for a few years now  My 2 cents are in ;)

I was thinking about combining your offer with a tour of Oregon's good trails to create a PNW Power tour kind of thing. I've pitched this idea out a few times and got a few nibbles from people that would come out from as far away as Wisconsin and Minnesota. :)

Good ideas.... Keep 'em coming....
