Aren't the SX's the swampers with thin sidewalls that have a tendency to tear?

No. The weakest sidewall is the radial swamper. However that thinner sidewall is also where you get the Gas milage and Easier acceleration. For a mud tire you want to street you cant beat it. If you were leaning more tward off road Id go for a thicker sidewall tire like the radial ssr.

I personaly never had a problem with them i  thought they had a decent sidewall and they cleaned out real nice for constant traction. just my .02
