rattle-can bedliners?

rattle-can bedliners?

Anyone had any luck using one of the rattle-can bedliners for places like inside the doors, and other hard to reach spots? Brands? Thanks.

i used the wal-mart cheep stuff and it sucked on the inside. then i sanded it a bit and it worked great. however the best stuff is a brush on prduct it is sold at advanced auto parts. i have thorwn all kid of metal on top of it and it is not scratched or damaged.

I've used the spray stuff at Napa and it works pretty well for interior panels, but seems kind of soft for floors...

suckd... sun faded in 3 weeks.  never again.  the brush on hippo stuff is ok thogh, worth the extra labor.  dont put on bare metal  :(

the dupli-color  spray on is great i used it after i cleaned up my rocker panals it drys fast and cures hard it gets my vote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been looking for some of the duplicolor stuff. Do any national chain stores carry it or will I have to order it?

I sprayed the rear inner bumper steel
part with either undercoating or truckbed
liner, maybe both, one was soft, one was
harder, either way it looked great, but
peels easy until it gets hard, if it ever goes
to a hard stage

As I recall, wallymart carries Duplicolor.  I used some (brush-on, with some spray for touchup) on a pickup bed once.  Decided it was too soft for that.

I used the dupli color stuff on the inside of my samurai and it works fine for that.

I've learned you can't use the stuff on bare metal.  The metal has to have at least a primer.

Second, the paint must be roughed up for it to stick or it will peal off.

Using it right it's worked good for me.
