One of mine is connected to a nipple on the intake manifold on the side facing the firewall very near the vacuum line to the brakes.  I think the other one attaches to the coolant manifold that comes out of the back of the waterpump and runs down the side of the engine.

If you can wait til tomorrow, I can tell you exactly how mine are connected. Too danged dark and cold right now.

The resulting setup works best if the choke water inlet and outlets face the firewall.  If you have the choke set (probably not, I bet -- but why add another variable to the mess?), unscrew the bolt on top (11 mm) and turn the housing so as to not disturb the choke setting which is made by loosening the three 7 mm hold-down bolts and rotating the housing that way.

Yes, I have been on the phone to sarge recently...  There may be a second part of the Weber Tuneup article at iZook.com covering choke adjustment.
