he has a nice design in theworks for a trackick bumper that is very adaptable to just about anything you need.  i think he has a couple of pics of the protoype on the site.  if not, just email him or check out the pics at:  www.zuknation.net

go to:  zuknation.net

then go to "forums" and scroll down to their 'Sponsers'.

ibuilt    has pics there of the prototype.  it does have some custom features on it that may or may not be what you want, but he will work with you for sure.

I love it how toyota and suzuki are always mated together by small shops.  They build it for toyota first, then suzuki.

There are getting to be a few options now out for the front of sidekicks, but still nothing decent for the rear.

you're right about the rear.  after pulling the plastic off, the rear bumper doesn't look too bad on it's own.  i painted it good, then added a rather unique hitch/recovery point with welded reinforcement between the aftermarket hitch and the gas tank safety bar.  looks pretty good and very practical for my purposes.  i'll try to get some pics taken this weekend and post them here.  will have the new    trackick front bumper on by then too.  pics of that will be here too.

Here's my bumper. It has 2"x4" x1/4" wall tube welded across the frame rails. Then I welded angle iron to the front of that for the mounts. On the back side of the bumper is the matching angle iron. There are holes in both pieces of angle to bolt the bumper on. The bumper itself is made of 10 gauge mild steel. It has 3 bends along the front face to match the curves of the front of the tracker and a top and bottom lip. It first started out as a steel step and had the top and bottom lips bent on it. I just notched the areas I wanted to bend and clamped it to a work bench and bent it by hand and welded it. It's very strong and not to heavy. Eventually I plan to mount a winch to the rail between the frame rails, this will sit behind the bumper and at that point I will cut a hole for the cable to come through. I will also mount some heavy plate to the rail and have it protrude through slotts in the bumper for recovery points. I made an identical one for my friends sidekick and welded the mount on and what not, so now they match.
Try to build your own if you can, it's good fun.
