The zuke is outta here
« on: November 10, 2004, 11:54:20 PM »
Just completed the last battle of the spark knock.  Took it to a second dealer and was told "As far as we're concerned, there is no problem".  Won't recount the whole dialog but suffice it to say, they said its a fuel issue and that I should try another brand.  Seems they forgot the copies of fuel receipts I provided that disprove their asinine logic.
Calls to ASMC have gone unreturned.  No contact from the DM on this.  Basically, I was told to get lost.  So be it.
I have a 4-sale sign in the window, KBB says I can get 10K selling it outright. If not, I'll trade it to a dealer and get a Toyota provided they can at least they give me what I owe.
State inspection is due and I will take care of that so I can get rid of it asap.

Too bad things had to work out this way but now I know that Suzuki does not stand behind their products.  I think Yankee Tim once described their 3-5-7 plan as .22 (as in too little too late).  I am inclined to agree with him.  Its plainly obvious I don't rate as a valued customer.  That's ok.  Without having to leave my town, I can cover over 60% of the new vehicle model available.  So I won't go without a decent vehicle that's for sure.
Bottom line, Suzuki doesn't need me and I sure as sh*t don't need them.

Good luck to all.  I probably won't be back here after I get rid of this vehicle.
The Zuke is on its way out.  Getting a vehicle that will behave and be supported by the dealer.

???What consumer groups have you contacted? GM used to treat people poorly but it caught up with them now they train everyone to be helpful. The change came from pressure and loss of sales, not that they would ever admit most of this. I understand dumping the ZUk and getting a toyota, I did the same with an S10 GM replaced with a full size Blazer that was a bigger POS. Good Luck. PS my family sells GMs I'm kind of a black sheep.

That really blows. Too bad they treat customers that way when they have problems :-/

Personally, combined with your experience and the new Suzuki line-up, I doubt I'll ever get any new Suzuki :-/

Best of luck with whatever vehicle you get as a replacement, man! :)

Today my "new" 01 left the family.  I decided that for driving to work 40 miles each way I really didn't want to have to drive a short wheelbase truck every day.  I traded it back for a sedan.  But I still have the 90 for when I feel like driving it or wheeling.

I'm sorry to hear that Sam Ham...  But being in the customer service industry myself, I completely understand your frustration.  I hope you have better luck with Toyota, their suppose to have the best CS on the planet.

Take care man.

I totally agree with Mike71 you don't need to leave this group, hey I won't and I have plans to sell my truck for the second time, don't ask long haunting story... maybe I just pissed off the Zuki-Gods any how this will be my next venture. The bike not the girl!!! Besides for some strange reason the state of Maryland will allow me to drive this and yet won't allow me to drive a car or truck.
